DFM Engineering also rebuilds older telescopes. This is
usually done in conjunction with retrofitting our control
system.
We have replaced drives, bearings, and performed major structural
rework on several telescopes including the University of Virginia's
1 meter astrometric reflector and the McMath-Pierce East Auxiliary
heliostat.
